AIRBUS A330 CLOUD CUTTING – Visible wake turbulence VORTEX effects (4K)
An Airbus A330 of Condor passed through a very thin cloud layer and I was able to record these vortex effects for the first time. That` s basicly the reason why planes have to wait for 60+ seconds until the next plane is allowed to depart. Especialy heavy airplanes like the Airbus A380 cause intense wake turbulence and that´ s why following planes avoid getting hit by the exhaust of bigger airplanes.
Condor only operates a single Airbus A330. It` s leased by Air Transat and as you can see it still carries the canadian registration. They based an A330 at Düsseldorf to offer flights to long haul destinations and to fill the gap Air Berlin created.
Thanks for watching, I hope you liked it and see you next week.
